About The Position

Tucson ENT is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead the operational management of our Tucson ENT practice. This leadership role partners with physicians and executive leadership to ensure efficient clinical operations, strong patient access, and exceptional patient care. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 5+ years of healthcare operations experience
  • Leadership experience within a physician practice or ambulatory care setting
  • Healthcare operations leadership

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or similar) preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-provider clinics strongly preferred
  • Experience in ENT, surgical specialties, or specialty practices preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the ENT clinical practice including scheduling, patient flow, staffing, and clinic performance
  • Ensure efficient clinical operations and high-quality patient care delivery
  • Implement operational policies, procedures, and workflow improvements
  • Support operational planning for clinic expansion and new service initiatives
  • Serve as the operational liaison for physicians
  • Collaborate with physicians to improve clinic efficiency and patient access
  • Support physician onboarding, scheduling optimization, and operational priorities
  • Partner with revenue cycle teams to monitor and improve: Charge capture accuracy Coding compliance Denial management Accounts receivable performance
  • Monitor operational budgets, staffing levels, and supply utilization
  • Implement operational improvements that support financial performance
  • Provide leadership and support to clinical and administrative staff
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor team members
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence
  • Conduct performance reviews and support staff development
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction goals
  • Maintain readiness for audits, accreditation, and compliance reviews
