About The Position

Essential Functions Lead and manage the overall operations of PSS including responsibility for the distribution centers and related supply chain activities. Oversee inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and logistics operations to optimize service delivery and cost. Work with team members, vendors, suppliers, and carriers to ensure seamless operations and timely deliveries. Hire, train, and manage a high-performing team, including project managers, customer support staff, warehouse managers and other operational staff. Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Manage the operational budget, working capital, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing service quality. Ensure Customer Service & Quality Control Strategic Responsibility Sets or contributes to the business strategy for own site / location (Division) Managing People/Leadership Has management responsibilities for multiple departments, possibly doing diverse activities (cross discipline). Problem-Solving Requires conceptual thinking in complex/completely new situations. Impact On Pilot Travel Centers segments/large functions. Communication/Interpersonal Skills Developed communication skills to negotiate internally and externally at high levels.
