About The Position

The Director of Nursing, Infusion Services provides strategic and operational nursing leadership across 7 outpatient infusion centers located on both the East and West campuses. This role is responsible for the oversight of clinical operations, nursing practice, quality, patient experience, and workforce performance across multiple sites of care. The Director will lead and develop nurse managers and clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety, and partner closely with operational stakeholders to drive high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered infusion services. This role plays a critical leadership function in advancing ambulatory growth, standardizing clinical practice across sites, and supporting system-wide quality, access, and performance goals. Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Requirements

• Bachelors: Nursing (Required)
• Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
