Interim HealthCare, the nation’s first home care company, is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing / Registered Nurse (RN) to support our West Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie offices. In this leadership role, you will oversee clinical operations, guide quality and compliance initiatives, and mentor a multidisciplinary team committed to exceptional patient-centered care. By partnering with the interdisciplinary leaders, you’ll help strengthen documentation quality, maintain survey readiness, and use performance insights to drive continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Active RN or BSN license in Florida and graduate of an accredited nursing program, along with an active CPR certification
  • At least 3–5 years of leadership experience managing clinical teams in home healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations, OASIS documentation, Conditions of Participation, and home health compliance standards
  • Experience leading QAPI initiatives, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance efforts
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, coach, and collaborate across interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight for all care and services delivered by the care center, ensuring compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and standards of practice
  • Lead the organization’s Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, identifying opportunities to strengthen clinical outcomes, documentation quality, and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain continuous survey readiness and oversee emergency preparedness planning in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, aides, and social workers to promote accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Oversee clinical documentation practices, including OASIS accuracy, timely charting, and regulatory compliance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, education, and retention of qualified clinical staff while ensuring proper credential verification and regulatory compliance
  • Use performance data, operational metrics, and quality outcomes to guide decision-making and drive measurable improvements across clinical operations
  • Ensure effective coordination of patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and communication with physicians, caregivers, and families
