Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in applicable state(s)
  • 5+ years nursing leadership experience; DON/ADON preferred

  • Experience in gerontological and restorative care

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee assisted living and memory care operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive staffing plans to ensure safe, adequate coverage aligned with resident acuity and care needs
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and performance management for licensed and unlicensed nursing staff
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce nursing policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices in compliance with regulations
  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes and operational effectiveness
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and serve as a primary contact during surveys, audits, and investigations
  • Collaborate with leadership, providers, families, and external partners to support coordinated, resident-centered care
  • Promote infection control, safety, and risk management practices across the community
  • Respond to on-call clinical concerns and emergent situations, providing direct care support as needed
  • Foster an ethical, respectful, and team-oriented culture that upholds resident dignity, comfort, and well-being
