About The Position
Health & Wellness Director (Nursing Leader) Charter Senior Living of Northpark Place is seeking an experienced and compassionate Health & Wellness Director to lead our clinical operations and nursing team. This is a key leadership role for a licensed nurse who is passionate about senior care, team development, and delivering exceptional resident outcomes in an assisted living and memory care environment. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while maintaining compliance with state regulations and Charter Senior Living standards. The HWD leads and develops the nursing and care team, partners closely with community leadership, and serves as a clinical resource for residents, families, and associates. This role is ideal for a nurse leader who balances clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and compassionate leadership .
Requirements
- Current RN or LPN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in senior living, assisted living, or long-term care
- Strong knowledge of clinical compliance, medication management, and resident care planning
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and retain nursing staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for serving seniors and leading with empathy and integrity
Responsibilities
- Oversee all health and wellness services for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and clinical best practices
- Lead, train, coach, and support nursing and care associates
- Oversee assessments, care planning, medication management, and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and external providers
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement efforts
- Support a culture of safety, accountability, and compassion
- Serve as a clinical leader and advocate for residents and staff
