About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Director in the Americas to help us change the way the world works, with Parallels [https://www.parallels.com/]: anytime, anywhere, any device productivity. Here, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding a team that serves a set of existing customers. You will also be counted on to identify new opportunities with prospects, through developing relationships with user groups, decision makers and influencers. This is a great opportunity for someone with 10+ years’ sales experience, enterprise account management, inside sales, and business development experience to learn and grow within a global organization.

Requirements

  • Soft skills: Driven, energetic, loyal, reliable, flexible
  • A college degree combined with 10+ years’ IT sales experience
  • Five years of experience managing a sales team
  • Excellent leadership skills, proactive mindset with strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Strong presentation and excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Past history of consistently exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to work well with outside clients and channel partners
  • Technical proficiency with the MS Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • CRM-experience preferable (Salesforce and SalesLoft highly desirable)
  • Software industry experience a benefit

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve company objectives within your region
  • Develop and motivate the sales team to provide innovative solutions and drive growth towards ambitious revenue goals
  • Coach and aid the team in developing opportunities, committing to a forecast, and maintaining an active pipeline to ensure effective control of sales results
  • Qualifying of in-coming leads, and identifying customers’ needs within their organization
  • Identifying of opportunities within new and existing clients
  • Identifying and developing of relationships with decision makers and influencers (new and existing customers)
  • Expanding existing clients through networking, calls and demonstrations of our solution
  • Creating an ongoing sales approach/methodology across the organization
  • Actively coaching reps thru a formal sales process/approach.
  • Provide online demonstrations to prospective customers
