Ready to make your mark?    This role is an Individual Contributor role; hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Parsippany, NJ or Chelsea, NY.    As an Director of New Data Initiatives you will partner closely with the GM to define, communicate, and drive ADP’s B2B data innovation strategy, launch and grow new initiatives, develop partnerships with industry-leading AI and Data organizations and drive measurable value realization from our data and AI efforts – all at the most exciting of times – an inflection point for enterprise AI. With data on the 30+ million US workers we pay (nearly 20% of the private US workforce), ADP is in a unique position to create market and customer value from our data foundation.     This is a part strategy, part operational role. You’ll be expected to initiate and own new data initiatives from whiteboard to launch to scale: identifying new commercial opportunities, shaping products, rallying cross-functional teams, and delivering value to clients and partners. Your role is critical to driving new growth for the function and you will have significant leadership exposure across the ADP ecosystem.    To thrive in this role, you need to have experience designing new B2B technology products and taking them from 0-1 in an enterprise setting, technology strategy and working cross-functionally alongside product, engineering, design and GTM teams in a corporate-technology setting.   Like what you see? Apply now!

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience driving B2B growth or product-led initiatives at a large technology company or top-tier consulting firm with a focus on technology-enabled business models
  • 3+ years in a strategy, commercial, or general management role closely partnered with B2B Product teams (e.g., product strategy, corporate strategy, venture incubation or P&L ownership)
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully identify, design and launch new B2B technology ventures and/or create commercial partnerships with leading technology & AI players
  • To have strong project management skills; to manage a portfolio of new initiatives working in tandem with multiple BUs and functions and managing leadership communications
  • Excellent communication skills. Experience presenting to senior leaders.
  • You’ll have a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced technical degree, including data science, computer science, electrical engineering, economics, finance, etc.
  • Familiarity with data commercialization models (e.g. APIs, embedded, subscription, licensing) how data underpins modern AI systems, the modern data-technology ecosystem and the legal/privacy framework around workforce data.
  • HCM or HR Technology experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market & competitive analysis on new B2B data commercialization and partnership opportunities for ADP, including new potential use cases of AI
  • Source, evaluate and nurture new data commercialization partnerships for ADP leveraging knowledge of Data and AI ecosystems
  • Formulate strategy and development plan to transform ADP proprietary datasets into new scalable offerings for enterprise and platform clients.
  • Partner with ADP Leadership, Product, Sales, Data Science, Engineering, and more to drive the planning and implementation of new initiatives
  • Create business cases and P&Ls for new initiatives, working end-to-end—from concept validation to go-to-market execution.
  • Oversee all aspects of initiative(s) in collaboration with data solutions teams including partnership / product definition, contract negotiations, product development, GTM, KPI definition and executive communications
