About The Position

The Director of Member Growth and Partnerships lead Health Choice Network’s efforts to expand and strengthen relationships with current and prospective member health centers. This role drives mission-aligned growth by connecting community health organizations with HCN’s portfolio of services that advance operational efficiency, quality of care, and sustainability. The Director serves as a trusted partner and advisor to health center executives—focused on collaboration, not sales—translating HCN’s solutions into measurable impact for their patients, staff, and communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare management, network development, or partnership strategy—ideally within the FQHC, managed care, or non-profit sector.
  • Background in healthcare operations, provider relations, or pharmaceutical sales, with a proven ability to translate technical solutions into value-driven partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of community health center operations, governance, and funding models.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and negotiate agreements rooted in mutual value and mission alignment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to represent the organization with professionalism and authenticity.
  • High travel comfort (50%+), flexible schedule, and comfort engaging at conferences and member sites across multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with new and existing member health centers aligned with HCN’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Lead outreach and engagement strategies that position HCN as a value-added partner in operational, clinical, financial, and technological transformation.
  • Develop and manage relationship plans for each member organization, ensuring proactive communication, trust, and alignment with shared goals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align offerings, proposals, and service plans to each center’s needs and priorities.
  • Represent HCN at conferences, trade shows, and strategic convenings.
  • Manage the logistics, staffing, and presentation of HCN booths and events to ensure strong visibility and engagement.
  • Follow up with leads from events and meetings, ensuring timely connection, information sharing, and relationship management.
  • Serve as a credible and knowledgeable spokesperson on HCN’s mission, services, and impact.
  • Lead conversations with C-suite executives and Boards of prospective members, demonstrating financial and operational ROI of HCN membership.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Executive leadership on proposals, scopes of work, and contracts.
  • Track engagement metrics, conversion rates, and partnership growth opportunities across all service lines.
  • Achieve annual growth targets and engagement metrics established in collaboration with the CEO and Board.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline tracking, reporting progress regularly to senior leadership.
  • Contribute to strategy sessions and organizational planning related to member experience, value creation, and service expansion.
