As our Director of Member Growth and Activation , you will be the "Growth Hacker" for our membership; someone who isn't just managing campaigns, but is obsessed and accountable for enrollment volume, conversion outcomes, experimentation velocity, and the daily, weekly, and monthly levers that move members through the funnel and keep them engaged with using Wellthy. Care is complicated and most families don’t know help exists or how to use it. This role ensures members actually get the support they need. You’ll play a key part in: Driving Member Growth and Client Success: Recognizing that every enrollment and activated member is a direct driver of growth and tangible value for Wellthy and our clients. High-Volume Experimentation: Leading a "test-and-learn" culture that thrives on high-volume A/B testing, rapid iteration, and applying data-backed insights in real-time. Reducing Friction: Identifying and dismantling the barriers that prevent families from seeking the care they need. Shaping Engagement Strategy: Crafting the roadmap for millions of employees and families who access Wellthy as a vital benefit or through their insurance carrier. Bringing the Mission to Life: Ensuring Wellthy’s voice and impact resonate across the entire member lifecycle. Expanding World-Class Member Support: Shaping and leading a Member Support strategy and muscle for Wellthy that is not just reactive but proactively shaping a modern and best-in-class member experience. You will report directly to a SVP of Client Success.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Lifecycle Growth; ideally in a fast-scaling B2B2E or Fintech/Health tech environment.
  • Growth-Hacker Mindset: Proven track record of driving massive shifts in conversion metrics through creative, unconventional, and data-backed tactics.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level experience with growth tools (e.g. HubSpot) and project management systems (Linear/Asana).
  • Mission-Alignment: Ability to communicate complex care needs using simple, clear, and inclusive language.
  • Experience Building and Managing Teams: Ability to hire, mentor, and lead a performance-oriented team.

Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy & Function Building Help lead a function from the ground up, establishing a high-performance culture obsessed with daily conversion metrics and growth-hacking loops.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive strategy across the full member lifecycle: launch → awareness → enrollment → activation → ongoing care → re-engagement.
  • Design and deploy proactive, high-touch outreach playbooks and behavioral nudges that move members from "enrolled" to “engaged” and later “re-engaged.”
  • Own the end-to-end development of client and partner launch practices.
  • Create evergreen and tailored campaign frameworks (launch kits, benefit cycle messaging, toolkit templates) that work across industries and geographies.
  • Craft clear, inclusive messaging that helps members navigate Wellthy's full service portfolio ensuring they find the right fit for their needs.
  • Collaborate on 6-12+ month content roadmaps, ensuring playbooks, webinars, and campaign assets are ready to meet anticipated client needs and seasonal moments (e.g., Open Enrollment).
  • Develop specialized campaigns and content for member categories accessing Wellthy via health plans and insurance carriers.
  • Act as a consultative partner to Client Success and Product Marketing, equipping them with insights and playbooks that strengthen employer relationships and prove program impact.
  • Partner with Product and CX to enhance in-app engagement, encouraging members to use specialized tools like the care circle, medication tracker, and document storage.
  • Collaborate with Brand/Creative to produce content that feels accessible, supportive, and reflective of Wellthy’s empathetic voice across every touchpoint.
  • Monitor engagement metrics, funnel conversion, and member behavior patterns to identify daily opportunities for growth.
  • Run A/B tests and structured experiments to continually improve messaging, timing, and channel strategy across email, SMS, and in-product messaging.
  • Translate complex engagement trends into clear recommendations for internal teams and high-level client-facing conversations.
  • Lead and oversee Wellthy’s Member Support muscle, including Activation Specialists and Member Support specialists.
  • Help shape and provide guidance to Wellthy’s Communications and Marketing Associate, supporting their work on content for members and clients.
