About The Position

Reporting to the VP of Moody Global Media, the Director of Media Content provides hands-on leadership for the MGM’s multi-platform content ecosystem, ensuring content excellence, operational discipline, and alignment with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities. This role serves as the internal quarterback for content execution, overseeing workflows across radio programming, podcasts, digital, and emerging media. The Director builds strong accountability structures, drives cross-team coordination, and ensures content remains clear, compelling, and on message. This is a player-coach role for a leader who combines strong content judgment with proven operational execution in a complex environment.

Requirements

  • Seven years in content, media, or programming leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-platform content teams
  • Strong hands-on operational leadership experience
  • Background in broadcast, digital media, or both
  • Proven ability to build workflows and accountability systems
  • Strong content judgment and message sensitivity
  • Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all content reflects the MGM and MBI’s voice, mission, and strategic priorities
  • Establish and enforce clear content standards across platforms
  • Partner with senior leadership on messaging priorities and content themes
  • Provide content guidance to hosts, producers, and content creators
  • Maintain high quality and consistency across both legacy and emerging media
  • Own the end-to-end content production workflow
  • Build and maintain integrated content calendars
  • Improve processes that increase speed, clarity, and accountability
  • Remove bottlenecks in content development and publishing
  • Ensure strong communication flow up and down the organization
  • Implement project management discipline across content teams
  • Directly supervise content producers and related staff
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews
  • Develop team capabilities across traditional and digital media
  • Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a hands-on coach, not just a delegator
  • Ensure alignment across radio, podcast, web, social, and emerging channels
  • Partner closely with marketing, digital, and development teams
  • Translate media strategy into executable content plans
  • Support content repurposing and distribution strategies
  • Help the organization move from siloed content to an integrated content ecosystem
  • Track and review key content performance metrics
  • Partner with the Media Strategy function (internal or external)
  • Recommend adjustments based on audience data and organizational priorities
  • Drive a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
