About The Position

In this role, you will drive significant impact by developing deep expertise in Cisco’s Industrial IoT Networking portfolio and helping customers build scalable, resilient networks. You’ll collaborate across the enterprise networking business to shape cohesive messaging and lead product marketing, competitive positioning, and demand generation to reinforce Cisco’s market leadership. As a visible industry representative, you’ll influence perception at key events and with analysts, while also building and mentoring a high-performing marketing team, fostering innovation, and developing Cisco’s next generation of marketing leaders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in networking or industrial environments, gained through Product Marketing or Integrated Marketing
  • 5+ years of management experience leading full-stack marketing teams with a proven track record in program execution and team development
  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Candidate must be based on the West Coast in the United States or be willing to work PST hours to support the business.

  • Experience articulating the value of advanced technologies and technical concepts such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)to solve customer or business challenges
  • Exceptional ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable driving initiatives independently while also mentoring and coaching others
  • Experience working in the IT, networking, SaaS, or mobility industry preferred
  • Willing to travel as needed, up to 25% envisioned

  • U.S. employees are eligible for paid time away as described below, subject to Cisco’s policies: 10 paid holidays per full calendar year, plus 1 floating holiday for non-exempt employees
  • 1 paid day off for employee’s birthday, paid year-end holiday shutdown, and 4 paid days off for personal wellness determined by Cisco
  • Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at rate of 4.92 hours per pay period for full-time employees
  • Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program, which has no defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use (subject to availability and some business limitations)
  • 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, and up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward from one calendar year to the next
  • Additional paid time away may be requested to deal with critical or emergency issues for family members
  • Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer
  • For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.
