About The Position

The Director of Marketing is responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy for ONTHEMARC Events across catering services and its venue portfolio, with ownership of brand visibility, lead generation, and revenue growth. This role reports to leadership and leads marketing performance across digital channels, brand, partnerships, reputation, and experiential initiatives.

Requirements

  • A marketing leader with 7+ years of experience, ideally in hospitality, events, lifestyle, or a related service-driven industry.
  • Deeply skilled in digital marketing, website management, analytics, and CRM-based lead tracking.
  • Hands-on with tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Webflow, Showit, Meta platforms, SE Ranking, and Tripleseat or similar systems.
  • Strong in brand development, visual storytelling, and content strategy across multiple customer touchpoints.
  • Experienced in planning and executing experiential campaigns, events, PR efforts, and partnership marketing.
  • Highly analytical and able to turn performance data, inquiry trends, and customer feedback into clear strategic decisions.
  • A strong project manager and communicator who builds productive relationships across teams and external partners.
  • Strategic, creative, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused, with a customer-first mindset and a clear passion for hospitality and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and performance of all digital channels, including social media, websites, and third-party event and wedding listing platforms.
  • Lead website management across Webflow and Showit, ensuring strong user experience, search visibility, content performance, and conversion optimization.
  • Oversee CMS structure, updates, and content governance across all web properties.
  • Manage analytics and reporting through GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as SE Ranking.
  • Optimize paid and organic social performance across Meta platforms and translate channel insights into clear actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of lead generation funnels and overall digital marketing performance.
  • Oversee lead capture, tracking, and reporting across marketing channels and inquiry sources.
  • Manage and optimize Tripleseat as a core platform for inquiry tracking, pipeline visibility, and conversion insight.
  • Ensure accurate attribution of lead sources, campaign impact, and customer journeys.
  • Analyze inquiry patterns to identify high-performing channels, market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with sales teams to improve lead quality, response approaches, and conversion outcomes.
  • Maintain and evolve ONTHEMARC Events’ visual brand identity across all customer-facing touchpoints.
  • Oversee development of sales collateral, pitch decks, and other external-facing marketing materials.
  • Ensure consistent brand standards across venues, catering, and partner properties.
  • Guide visual storytelling and content strategy in ways that reflect the company’s positioning and guest experience.
  • Lead the concepting and execution of promotional events, showcases, launches, and other brand-building experiences.
  • Build and manage relationships with local vendors, planners, and industry partners to expand reach and drive bookings.
  • Develop campaigns and experiences that strengthen engagement, differentiate each property, and support commercial goals.
  • Lead public relations strategy, including media outreach, press opportunities, and brand storytelling.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for features, awards, and editorial coverage.
  • Manage influencer and content creator partnerships from identification and vetting through campaign execution and review.
  • Track partnership and influencer performance and evaluate return on investment.
  • Create tailored marketing campaigns for individual venues within the portfolio based on each property’s audience, positioning, and business goals.
  • Align marketing plans with sales priorities and revenue targets across catering and venue business lines.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure campaigns support both brand growth and conversion outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage brand reputation across review platforms including Google, Yelp, and event marketplace sites.
  • Respond to reviews and inquiries in a timely, professional, and brand-aligned manner.
  • Analyze guest feedback trends to identify recurring issues, opportunities, and brand risks.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and culinary teams to implement improvements that strengthen guest satisfaction and brand perception.
