The Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations is responsible for leading and executing a comprehensive, integrated marketing, communications, and public relations strategy that advances the mission and strategic priorities of Girl Scouts of Connecticut. This role provides day-to-day leadership of the Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team while serving as the organization’s primary lead for public relations and media relations. The Director develops, builds, and maintains a positive public image among internal and external audiences, strengthens brand awareness, and amplifies the Council’s impact statewide. This position partners closely with the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO), CEO, and senior leadership to support membership growth, philanthropy, advocacy, volunteer engagement, and program visibility. At all times, the Director must portray and promote a positive image that reflects Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s policies, values, and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and customer service.
