About The Position

At Davinci Jets, safety is not just a priority — it is the foundation of everything we do. We are a customer-centric, entrepreneurial aviation company committed to operational excellence and to building a workplace where high-performing professionals can lead, innovate, and grow. Proudly based in North Carolina and operating from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Davinci Jets provides comprehensive aircraft management under FAR Part 91 and Part 135. We support a diverse fleet that includes aircraft operated by multiple Fortune 500 companies. Our clients expect precision, responsiveness, and uncompromising standards — and we deliver. We are seeking a Director of Maintenance who will serve as the strategic, operational, and regulatory leader of our maintenance organization. This pivotal role blends the regulatory oversight of a FAR Part 135 Director of Maintenance with the executive vision of a Vice President of Maintenance. You will ensure full FAA compliance, drive continuous improvement, and maintain the highest standards of airworthiness across a wide range of aircraft platforms. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will shape the long-term strategy for our maintenance operations, foster a high-performance culture, and contribute to business growth through budgeting, margin optimization, and strategic initiatives. You will lead a team of Maintenance Controllers, Assistant Directors, and Dedicated Maintenance Technicians, promoting accountability, professionalism, innovation, and operational excellence. This position demands a leader who can balance tactical execution with strategic foresight, building scalable maintenance management systems to support our expanding fleet and client base. If you are a compliance-driven leader who values precision, transparency, and partnership — and who thrives in an environment where safety, service excellence, and business acumen are non-negotiable — we invite you to join our team and help propel Davinci Jets to new heights. The Director of Maintenance is responsible for the strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, and business management of the company's aircraft maintenance and airworthiness programs. This role oversees the development and execution of maintenance strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and superior client service. Reporting directly to the executive leadership, the Director will act as a bridge between regulatory requirements and business objectives, driving profitability through margin management and resource optimization.
