The resort integrates resort-owned vacation rental homes, large-scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight-acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings. This diverse environment demands sophisticated engineering oversight to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability across all systems. Requirements

  • College degree and / or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of leisure sales director experience in high volume resort with similar vacation homes and amenities
  • Experience in utilizing resort sales system
  • Able to read and understand financials and budgets
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Inspired to always represent Evermore brand and values
  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead leisure resort sales functions generate and foster strategic leisure distribution.
  • Define and drive leisure sales objectives that support established goals and adhere to budget parameters.
  • Responsible for developing, coaching, and training leisure sales managers, while strategically delegating aspects of the leisure sales function.
  • Build awareness across all leisure channels, including distribution channels not only in the resort space, but also the vacation rental space.
  • Develop and refine a forward-thinking leisure strategy, using continuous competitive analysis to shape smart, data-driven decisions.
  • Recommend leisure sales processes, partnerships, and/or technologies to streamline performance and maximize potential.
  • Monitor relevant sales metrics and making necessary adjustments to achieve targets.
  • Set clear priorities and expectations for leisure Team Members, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Maintain a strong leadership presence throughout the leisure sales and operations process by participating in pivotal events and building meaningful relationships with key partners and Team Members.
  • Establish and guide a high-performing sales team through strategic hiring, coaching, and mentorship, ensuring team members are recognized and supported in their career growth.
  • Cultivate productive, collaborative partnerships across departments, particularly with the Events team.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to support weekend and evening business demands.
  • Define and track key performance indicators, providing regular reporting to leadership and managing to the annual sales and expense budget.
  • Continuously explore new ideas by staying connected to resort sales trends, benchmarking best practices, and participating in key industry organizations.
