About the Role: Develop and maintain the Barrett IT/OT strategy and delivery roadmap in consultation with the Barrett Senior Leadership Team and NIOA Group Office, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise direction. Provide direction and oversight of people, processes, and technology across all IT service lines, including business systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, productivity solutions, and service desk. Plan and maintain a current, fit-for-purpose IT environment aligned to evolving business objectives, while developing and implementing IT plans, policies, standards, processes, and procedures. Ensure full compliance with all internal and external IT-related obligations, partnering closely with the Barrett compliance team, NIOA Group Office, and key internal and external stakeholders. Lead IT governance activities including budget planning, cost management, performance measurement, continuous improvement, assurance activities, and management reporting, while managing vendor relationships and service delivery performance. Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a cyber safe environment through effective security controls, risk management frameworks, and continuous improvement, while inspiring collaboration and excellence across local, regional, and global teams. About You Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management systems, or related field preferred; however, candidates with significant, direct relevant experience will be strongly considered in lieu of formal education. Master’s degree is highly desirable. 10+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise-level IT systems, software, and services, with contemporary IT certifications (Microsoft and ITSM highly desirable). 5+ years administering Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments, including server, desktop, Microsoft 365, and Azure; Dynamics 365 experience preferred. 5+ years of IT management experience leading IT staff, service delivery, and project oversight; project management experience is highly desirable. 2+ years managing IT within Defense, Government, or compliance-driven environments; defense manufacturing experience a plus. Strong cybersecurity leadership experience across protection, detection, response, and recovery, with governance aligned to frameworks such as DFARS, CMMC, NIST 800-171, and ISO 27001; ERP, CRM, and HRIS experience preferred.
