About The Position

The Director of Information Technology plays a critical role in supporting Innove, Inc.’s administrative and operational functions. This position is responsible for setting and executing the company’s overall technology strategy while ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems. The Director of Information Technology  leads the IT function, oversees infrastructure and applications, manages vendors and budgets, partners with the business leaders to help enable business growth, and ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and security standards.

Requirements

  • IT monitoring and alerting platforms
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution
  • Proven ability to analyze complex problems and present practical, business-focused solutions
  • Effective collaborator across departments and leadership levels
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 7 years managing IT operations including network, security, cloud-based servers, desktop hardware/ applications and help desk
  • 3 years managing business applications specifically around manufacturing and online selling
  • 3 years managing technical and business application resources

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus
  • Experience with manufacturing concepts including BOM, warehouse management, MRP, standard cost, and shipping (+international) is also a plus
  • Experience with GP-based ERP environments, CRM systems, WMS platforms, websites and cloud based selling systems, monitoring tools, asset management, and enterprise networking solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the IT organization, including vision, roadmap development, and long-term planning
  • Oversee administration and security of the global corporate network, cloud platforms, and on-premise systems
  • Own the organization’s Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics (ERP/CRM), and cloud infrastructure environments
  • Ensure high availability, performance, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for all systems
  • Direct identity and access management across networks, applications, and data
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices
  • Ensure cybersecurity practices align with business risk tolerance and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, manage, and forecast the annual IT operating and capital budgets
  • Own IT purchasing, asset lifecycle management, and inventory tracking
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance management, and ongoing service optimization
  • Oversee end-to-end help desk operations, including ticket management, escalation processes, and service levels
  • Ensure standardized workstation imaging, deployment, and refresh programs
  • Support a mixed Windows and macOS client environment
  • Oversee telephony and communication systems, including toll-free numbers, DIDs, routing, call center functionality, and reporting
  • Partner with business leaders to improve system usability, integration, and process efficiency
  • Lead participation in PCI compliance audits, IT audits, and related testing
