About The Position

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for leading the strategic vision and daily operations of technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, and program innovation. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the secure, reliable, and mission-aligned use of technology across the organization. The Director manages systems, people, and processes that support staff and service delivery. The Director is a member of the senior leadership team and works under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer to align technology strategy with the organization’s mission and operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
  • A minimum of 7 years relevant progressive IT work experience including Microsoft network administration; and strong leadership and project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise software systems including accounting/financial packages, donor management (CRM) platforms, cloud based collaborative solutions and SQL based databases or reporting tools.
  • Proven background in supporting system integrations and implementations.

  • Prior experience in a human services or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals
  • Manage technology annual operating budget, procurement, vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing renewals
  • Oversee cybersecurity strategy, risk assessment, incident response, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain and secure, the network infrastructure, servers, databases, audio-visual systems, and organization-wide hardware/software
  • Ensure system integration, data integrity, and user training across platforms. Optimize workflows and user access while ensuring appropriate permissions and data privacy.
  • Ensure documentation is kept current for all processes and architecture
  • Serves as primary resource for hardware, software and data collection decisions regarding the maintenance of the network
  • Collaborates with end users to identify application requirements, analyzes and designs software solutions and determines what software products to purchase
  • Develop policies, procedures and appropriate security for IT matters, along with policies, and procedures defining access to and usage of LMM applications, systems and IT equipment
  • Ensures IT practices are compliant with agency insurance requirements
  • Oversees purchasing, installation and maintenance of all hardware, including computers, servers and network, software, telecommunications & security devices
  • Keeps abreast of new technologies, applications and software options and develops use cases and action plans for how these may be integrated into the organization
  • Expertise in network administration, cybersecurity best practices, Windows/Server environments, and cloud services
