About The Position

Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for a dedicated and passionate Director of Information Technology (IT) & Digital Transformation to serve as an integral part of the security Team. Position Overview: The Director of IT & Digital Transformation is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and execution of the company’s information technology function. This role will ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems while leading the transition from manual, fragmented processes to integrated, technology-enabled operations. The position will oversee enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and user support, while driving improvements in business efficiency, data visibility, and compliance. The Director will work cross-functionally to align technology solutions with operational and strategic business objectives. Responsibilities: This role is responsible for ensuring that the company's IT environment is secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs, while driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and capabilities to support long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field required
  • 10–15+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles
  • Experience managing IT operations in a mid-sized organization (300–2,000 employees)
  • Proven experience with enterprise systems, including ERP platforms such as NetSuite or similar
  • Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Demonstrated experience improving business processes through technology
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and risk management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • IT Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy aligned with business goals Establish technology roadmaps to support growth, scalability, and operational efficiency Provide leadership and direction to the IT function, including internal staff and external partners Advise executive leadership on technology investments, risks, and opportunities
  • Enterprise Applications & Systems Management Oversee the implementation, optimization, and support of core business systems, including NetSuite and Paycom Ensure system performance, reliability, and data integrity Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and new technology implementations Manage application support and user adoption across the organization
  • Business Process & Workflow Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology and automation Lead initiatives to replace manual processes (e.g., spreadsheets, email-based workflows) with structured systems Collaborate with business leaders to standardize and improve operational workflows Implement tools and platforms that support process automation and scalability
  • Data Management & Reporting Establish data governance practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility Develop and maintain reporting capabilities and dashboards to support decision-making Ensure integration and alignment of data across systems Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Cybersecurity & Risk Management Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity program Implement and manage controls including: Multi-factor authentication (MFA) Access controls and identity management Endpoint and network security Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and threats Ensure compliance with regulatory and operational requirements, including TSA-related standards Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning
  • Infrastructure & Technology Operations Oversee IT infrastructure, including cloud services, networks, and end-user devices Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems Manage IT service delivery, including help desk and user support Establish and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs)
  • Vendor & Third-Party Management Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers Negotiate contracts and ensure service delivery meets business requirements Evaluate and select vendors based on cost, performance, and scalability Oversee outsourced services, including cybersecurity and infrastructure support
  • Emerging Technology & Innovation Evaluate and implement new technologies, including AI and automation tools Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reporting, and compliance through innovation Ensure new technologies are practical, secure, and aligned with business needs
  • IT Governance & Compliance Establish IT policies, standards, and procedures Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and controls Support audits and compliance reviews as required
