About The Position

Lead with purpose and shape the future of our workforce. The Director of Human Resources will drive strategic HR initiatives that will support operational excellence at Northwestern University. This role will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and workforce planning while ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory standards. The Director will foster an inclusive, compliant, and high-performing work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
• Experience managing compensation, benefits, and employee relations programs

Nice To Haves

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
