We are looking for an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead all human resources functions and play a key role in shaping the employee experience across the organization, including call center, sales, customer service, claims, IT, and more. This is an opportunity for a hands-on HR leader who thrives working independently, enjoys building and refining processes, and can partner with leadership to drive results.

Requirements

  • Expert in Paycom — payroll, HRIS, and reporting
  • Deep knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices
  • Experienced in running and reviewing background checks
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong communicator and relationship-builder with leadership and employees
  • Passionate about supporting employees and fostering a positive, performance-driven culture
  • Expert in Paycom — payroll, HRIS, reporting, and system administration
  • Experience in running and reviewing background checks.
  • Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local HR laws, compliance, and best practices
  • Strong leadership and team management skills across multiple HR functions
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities independently
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to drive HR strategy while executing day-to-day operations in a fast-growing environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, Total Rewards, and HR Compliance
  • Administer payroll and HRIS using Paycom — experience with Paycom is required
  • Oversee a team of 5 HR professionals handling recruiting, benefits administration, payroll, and related HR functions
  • Design, implement, and maintain benefits and total rewards programs that attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure HR compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on performance, policy, and employee relations
  • Oversee background checks and reference verifications, ensuring candidates meet company standards
  • Lead process improvements and develop HR policies to support our growing teams
  • Track HR metrics and provide insights to guide strategic decisions
