About The Position

Reporting to the President of Life Line, the Director of Human Resources leads the full HR function for the organization. This role is responsible for shaping and executing people strategies that align with Life Line’s mission, values, and business objectives. THE DIRECTOR OVERSEES THE LIFE LINE HR TEAM AND IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR BUILDING A HIGH-PERFORMING HR FUNCTION THAT SUPPORTS ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH AND EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE. THIS ROLE ALSO MAINTAINS A STRONG DOTTED-LINE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FOLIENCE SHARED SERVICES DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT ON ENTERPRISE-WIDE HR STRATEGIES, POLICIES, COMPLIANCE, AND BEST PRACTICES.

Requirements

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in as fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, engagement and talent acquisition

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR analytics preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and oversee the Life Line HR team, fostering a high-performing, service-oriented function
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies, including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits
  • Partner with organizational leaders to identify workforce needs and implement effective talent and succession planning strategies
  • Drive employee engagement and culture initiatives that enhance satisfaction, retention, and overall performance
  • Oversee training and development programs in collaboration with Folience Shared Services Learning & Development to ensure continuous employee growth
  • Analyze workforce data and trends to inform strategic decisions and workforce planning
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on complex employee relations issues, providing sound guidance and resolution strategies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with the Folience Shared Services HR team to ensure alignment on compliance, policies, and organizational initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, industry groups, and workforce organizations to strengthen employer branding
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive employee information
  • Support additional organizational initiatives and priorities as needed
