The Director of Global Process, Procure-To-Pay, is the Owner for the process across Emerson's global footprint. The incumbent will develop future state operating model requirements including Process, Persona (Roles), Metrics (KPI), and Technology components. Thereafter the incumbent will be accountable for achievement of the future state operating model across the global Emerson footprint. Reporting to the Vice President of Digital Supply Chain, this role ensures that Enterprise Supply Chain Programs are relevant and impactful to business units across Emerson's global footprint, drive process excellence, develop talent to meet future state, and partner with IT leadership to deploy leading automation, AI, software, and data management solutions to accelerate productivity within the scope of the Process. The Director will have direct reports as well as matrixed reports from regional teams. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: The Global Process Owner (GPO) is responsible for defining, governing, and continuously improving the end-to-end Procure-To-Pay (P2P) across the organization This role ensures consistency, standardization, and efficiency in process execution globally, while aligning with local business strategy, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives The GPO acts as the ultimate decision-maker for the process design and performance, ensuring stakeholder alignment across functions, regions, and business units GPO will develop and execute relevant initiatives for the process in-scope to achieve tangible business results and execute programs on time Partner with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and BU teams to implement software, automation, and AI solutions Lead change management in developing global processes that achieve business case and the diverse needs of Emerson business and regional needs Develop and execute training for users of tools and processes Use data to guide decision-making across the organization Who You Are: You analyzes multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions. For This Role, You Will Need: Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Operations, or related field Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in process management, transformation, or operational excellence roles preferably in Industrial Products companies 7+ years of relevant experience in relevant areas of supply chain strategy, operating model change management, and technology Proven track record of leading global process improvement initiatives Domain expertise in Sourcing & Procurement as well as strong knowledge of Finance / Accounts Payable operations and best practices Experience with ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and digital enablers (e.g., AI, RPA, workflow, analytics, data) Excellent communication skills to influence senior leaders and global stakeholders Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills Demonstrated ability to achieve results in real world business situations or applications coupled with the ability to inspire and train others Must have strong problem solving and written / verbal communication skills Strong executive presence, ability to influence teams across global businesses, and storytelling skills to lead change management The incumbent must be adaptable and allow for a flexible work schedule that involves global team members This position will require 30%+ plus travel domestically and internationally.
