About The Position

The Director of Franchise Development leads the growth of the College HUNKS franchise system by attracting, evaluating, and awarding franchises to high-caliber, values-aligned operators. This role oversees the day-to-day execution of the franchise development function, manages the candidate pipeline, and ensures a structured, high-performing sales process that consistently converts qualified prospects into successful Franchise Partners. As a key driver of system expansion, the Director is instrumental in identifying and onboarding operators who align with the brand’s culture, uphold its standards, and contribute to its long-term vision and success.

Requirements

  • Leadership and Culture Stewardship Sets the tone for the franchise development team by modeling professionalism, accountability, and a high-performance mindset.
  • Executive Presence and Brand Representation Represents the brand with confidence, charisma, and strong communication at franchise conferences, events, and candidate engagements.
  • Relationship Building Develops trusted relationships with candidates, brokers, and franchise partners to strengthen the recruitment process.
  • Coaching and Talent Development Provides ongoing coaching and mentorship to franchise development team members to improve performance and candidate experience.
  • Strategic Thinking Ability to evaluate candidate quality, market opportunities, and long-term franchise system growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of franchise development or franchise sales experience
  • Experience leading or managing franchise development teams preferred
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Microsoft Office (Intermediate–Advanced)
  • CRM and franchise development pipeline systems
  • Zoom / Microsoft Teams
  • Franchise development reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Franchise Growth and Recruitment Drive the recruitment and awarding of new franchise partners across targeted markets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified franchise candidates.
  • Ensure candidates are thoroughly vetted and aligned with the brand’s culture, operational standards, and growth expectations.
  • Franchise Development Leadership Recruit, train, and coach Franchise Development team members.
  • Establish performance expectations and monitor key development metrics.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the franchise development team.
  • Franchise Sales Process Optimization Continuously improve the franchise development pipeline and candidate qualification process.
  • Ensure all candidate interactions follow a disciplined and consistent sales process.
  • Monitor and improve key conversion metrics throughout the development funnel.
  • Meet the Team Leadership Host and oversee Meet the Team Day experiences for franchise candidates.
  • Evaluate candidate readiness, cultural alignment, and operational capability.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership in final candidate evaluations.
  • Candidate Engagement and Advancement Lead candidate discovery calls and guide candidates through the franchise evaluation process.
  • Facilitate Decision Day conversations following Meet the Team Days to advance qualified candidates toward franchise award.
  • Lead Generation Strategy Partner with marketing to optimize lead generation channels.
  • Ensure a consistent flow of qualified franchise candidates through multiple acquisition channels.
  • Broker and Industry Relationships Cultivate and manage relationships with franchise brokers and external development partners.
  • Maximize high-quality candidate referrals from broker networks.
  • Franchise Partner Validation Network Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Franchise Partners to support candidate validation calls.
  • Ensure candidates receive authentic insight into the franchise opportunity.
  • Reporting and Metrics Track and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly development metrics.
  • Analyze performance data to improve franchise development outcomes.
