About The Position

What will you contribute? As the Director of Financial Reporting, you will build, lead, and evolve the IFRS/US GAAP and Statutory financial reporting processes, including quarterly lender packages and annual audited financial statements.

Requirements

• Active CPA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting (or related field)
• Proven expertise gained through Big 4 public accounting firm and US public company external reporting roles with deep US GAAP, SEC and SOX knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and global consolidation within complex, multi-entity international environments.
• Experience preparing financial statements under IFRS standards required.

Nice To Haves

• IPO experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with both public and private Fintech companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end corporate consolidation calendar (monthly, quarterly, annual) ensuring timely, accurate financial statements.
• Manage the preparation and review of annual audited financial statements, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP and internal policy.
• Oversee global statutory reporting: calendar, local GAAP adjustments, audit coordination, and filing compliance across all legal entities.
• Managing data compilation and analysis and drafting disclosure for annual reports.
• Actively supporting and coordinating with various business units with respect to accounting issues and providing accounting and reporting guidelines.
• Produce quarterly lender/creditor reporting packs, including covenants, liquidity, and leverage metrics; partner with Treasury and FP&A on inputs and certifications.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and support audit activities.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify and simplify technical rules and regulations to ensure accurate and complete data are provided to support key disclosures.
• Partner closely with Legal/FP&A/Investor Relations teams to develop accurate, transparent, and consistent disclosures.
• Monitor and provide analysis on changing or new FASB/SEC/IFRS disclosure rules that may impact future financial reporting.
• Build and develop a high-performing team.
• Partner closely with technical accounting, corporate accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and Shared services to align on policies, data, and deadlines.
• Prepare audit committee materials on reporting matters as needed.
