About The Position

Alliance Technical Group is on the lookout for an exceptional leader to take on the pivotal role of Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This job will start between $140K to $160K depending upon experience and performance bonus, benefits, PTO and 9 paid holidays per year. This position will oversee the whole division, and travel will be a necessity. Overview We are seeking a Director of FP&A to lead financial planning and reporting in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. This role partners closely with senior leadership to deliver insights that drive decision-making, support growth initiatives, and enhance enterprise value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or MSF preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or related field
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate with senior leadership
  • Experience managing teams and developing talent
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite and NetSuite Planning & Budgeting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly financial reporting, including flash reports, variance analysis, and performance packages
  • Partner with business unit leaders to review results, identify risks/opportunities, and drive accountability
  • Own the forecasting process, including rolling forecasts and scenario analysis
  • Lead the annual budgeting process across the organization
  • Deliver timely, actionable insights to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Oversee integration of acquisitions into financial reporting, including transaction-level detail and pro forma consolidation
  • Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of FP&A professionals
