About The Position

What: Lead all accounting and finance operations including financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, payroll oversight, audit leadership, and strategic financial planning. Job Summary: The Director of Finance will oversee monthly financial reporting, budgeting, long-range planning, treasury management, payroll oversight, and corporate controls. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance, ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations, and support strategic growth initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 8–10 years of accounting experience with 3–5 years at the manager level
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, cost control, payroll, and benefits administration
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred
  • Experience with treasury accounting preferred
  • Experience in complex operational environments preferred
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Windows-based accounting systems
  • Business intelligence tools experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage preparation of monthly financial statements and key performance indicators
  • Lead annual budget process and five-year financial planning
  • Present financial analysis and results to executive leadership
  • Provide oversight of accounts payable and payroll functions ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify business solutions and improve operating results
  • Support financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, treasury, insurance programs, and tax compliance
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Oversee general ledger activities including bank reconciliations, account reconciliiations, and fixed assets
  • Serve as audit lead and manage external audit relationships
  • Collaborate with shared service departments on allocations and consolidated reporting
  • Develop, mentor, and lead finance and accounting team members
  • Complete special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
