Requirements

4 years University degree in accounting, finance, business, or related; MBA, CMA or CPA preferred
10+ years of finance and accounting leadership within a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) spanning various facilities and countries
Experience in activities such as financial close, budgeting/forecasting, internal controls, internal and external audit management, ad hoc analysis, management reporting, US GAAP, and taxation
Ability to lead a remote North American team and demonstrated experience developing talent
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in ERP systems, familiarity with Microsoft D365 preferred
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and process
High integrity and ethical standards, and an ability to handle confidential information
Travel to North American assembly plants, meetings, etc / 10% - 20%

Responsibilities

Lead the finance and accounting function for the region.
Train, develop, and coach controller team by identifying skill gaps and drive training for optimal performance.
Lead regional compliance function and serve as next level reviewer and approver.
Supports the FP&A function with regional financial data and serve as key input into the financial planning process to improve accuracy and clarity.
Address reporting requests as needed.
Identify and lead regional initiative to improve processes and profitability.
Act as a key contributor to management reviews of reports including financial reporting and guidance.
