About The Position

Remmert & Company is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration to lead and strengthen the financial backbone of our organization. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving financial accuracy, operational discipline, and risk management across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for a hands-on financial leader who thrives in structured systems, values precision, and can confidently lead teams while improving processes and performance.

Requirements

• Strong technical expertise in accounting, finance, and financial systems
• Proven ability to lead teams and enforce high standards of accuracy and performance
• Decisive, fact-based decision-making within a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail with a structured, disciplined approach to work
• Ability to communicate clearly, directly, and confidently with leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or a related industry
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Maintain and enhance established financial systems and procedures
• Provide leadership with clear, fact-based insights for decision-making
• Manage and develop the Finance & Accounting team
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to high standards
• Delegate effectively while maintaining visibility into performance and results
• Oversee company insurance programs and risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with all financial reporting and regulatory requirements
• Identify risks and implement practical, system-based solutions
• Continuously evaluate financial processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Identify technical and operational issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Drive consistency and discipline across financial workflows
