About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Field Marketing will develop the overarching strategy to drive traffic to our restaurants, build sales, and accelerate brand awareness through local marketing. This role leads the creation and execution of promotional strategies at the local and regional levels across each key market, while also developing fundraising and partnership strategies to strengthen local engagement. The Director will develop and implement local marketing plans, maximize local media and PR efforts, and ensure brand integrity is consistently maintained across all company initiatives to support long-term brand growth. This position partners closely with restaurant operations teams to execute marketing plans that deliver measurable business results. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role works closely with the Marketing team to activate the brand strategy across all markets and leads a team of field marketers located in key markets nationwide. This role is based in the Restaurant Support Center in Oakbrook, Illinois. The position has direct reports but may occasionally coordinate and hire sub-contracted workers for special occasions, events, and additional support. The Field Marketing Director regularly interacts with our Guests, Partners, Operations, Marketing, People & Recruiting, Legal, and Accounting/Finance teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a field marketing leadership role within QSR or retail environments
  • 5+ years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and lead high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful local marketing strategies
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing performance metrics
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Experience driving change in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Aptitude for balancing multiple priorities with strong organization and prioritization capability
  • Ability to coach and develop marketing strategy with operational leaders
  • Exceptional ability to build consensus across a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency with using the Microsoft Office Suite, Asana and other collaboration and workflow tools
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to support field marketing initiatives
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable and independent transportation
