About The Position

The Director of Faculty Affairs manages SFS faculty affairs operations, including academic appointments, tenure and promotion, faculty research grants, assessment, and course scheduling and inventory. The position serves as an expert resource to the Dean's executive leadership team on the design and management of administrative processes and special projects related to faculty.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) and a minimum of 4 years of managing faculty affairs or related operations in higher education.
  • Proficiency in technologies related to faculty operations at SFS and GU
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion in the oversight of complex and sensitive HR-related transactions
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
