About The Position

Provides direction for nursing departments in accordance with professional nursing standards and requirements of licensing and accrediting agencies. A Registered Nurse who is accountable to assure the standard of care is maintained within the framework of: Hospital System Mission, Vision, Values and Goals, Nursing Department goals and Budget guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Nursing required.
• Five years of nursing experience required with at least two years of experience in one specialty area.
• One to three years of nursing management experience required.
• Licensed as a registered nurse in New Jersey.
• 8 hours of stroke education required annually.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Nursing or Management preferred.
• Certification in area of specialty preferred
