Tyree & D'Angelo Partners (TDP) is a Chicago-based private equity investment firm that makes control ownership investments in, and partners with, lower middle market businesses with the goal of creating meaningful value for all involved. TDP is currently investing out of its second fund and has approximately $1B of equity capital under management. TDP has significant experience investing in healthcare, consumer, and business services businesses and has completed almost 400 investment partnerships in its history. TDP launched and build Heartland Veterinary Partners and Western Veterinary Partners, two of the largest and most successful veterinary partnership platforms in the country. We are currently seeking a hands-on Director of Doctor Recruiting to join our high-growth, fast-paced veterinarian support services portfolio company, Veterinarian Partners. The chosen candidate will focus on strengthening the talent and recruiting process within the veterinary field, be enthusiastic about the veterinary space, and an excellent communicator and team player.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience recruiting doctors within a veterinary, dental, dermatology, or multi-site healthcare environment
  • Strategic and creative searching, sourcing and networking experience to build relationships and find talent
  • Experience documenting, reporting and maintaining the applicant flow in an ATS applicant tracking system
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, teamwork mentality, positive attitude, problem-solver and self-motivated
  • Familiarity with the entire recruitment lifecycle and building a candidate pipeline
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Local to the Chicago metro
  • Ability to travel ~20% each month

Responsibilities

  • Lead doctor recruiting team which includes sourcing and field recruiting team members
  • Execute data driven approach to recruiting processes utilizing talent management software and other technology
  • Partner closely with hospital leaders and operations team members to ensure a positive experience with the recruiting process
  • Represent Veterinarian Partners when meeting with candidates on site visits, industry events, and other venues
  • Develop key reporting/analysis measurements and processes
  • Function as a senior leader within the organization, serving as strategy leader for doctor recruiting
