The Division of Advancement at Tarleton State University is seeking a proven fundraiser to serve as the Director of Development for the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development with guidance and direction from the Vice President for Advancement, the successful candidate will serve as the lead fundraiser for the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business. Specifically, the successful candidate will build a comprehensive development program for the College featuring both annual giving and major gift elements. A core focus will be expanded external engagement, new donor acquisition, and heightened alumni involvement. Coordination with Advancement’s annual fund and donor relations director will be paramount. Growing alumni giving to the College, at all levels, will represent a central indicator of success. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate with the director of annual giving and donor relations to establish and execute a defined, strategic donor-appreciation strategy that keeps supporters engaged and expands both their active involvement with the College and their philanthropic support. The Director will leverage extended alumni engagement to develop a growing cohort of major gift-level donors. It will be the Director’s responsibility to acutely align prospects with the priorities of the College, as established by the dean, to enable excellence in teaching, research, and community-based outreach. Position is in-office, located in Stephenville, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday; from 8am to 5pm or as work requirements indicate. Serves as Campus Security Authority.
