We are seeking a Director of Creative Services & Marketing Communications to lead the development, production, and operational execution of all global marketing assets. This leader oversees creative direction, design, digital and web production, video and multimedia development, and all agency partnerships. They also own the annual marketing budget process and manage the operational execution of the annual marketing plan to ensure aligned, timely delivery across launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives. Working closely with Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Digital, Events, Regional Marketing, and other cross-functional partners, this role ensures that Evident’s creative output, communications, and marketing operations are world-class, scalable, and consistently aligned to business priorities and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant experience in marketing, communications, design, digital media, or business is preferred.
  • Proven Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in creative services, marketing communications, brand management, or digital production ideally within a global B2B, life science, technology, or industrial organization. Experience leading creative teams and managing complex, multi-channel asset production is essential.
  • Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated experience leading and developing creative, design, or communications teams, as well as managing agency partners and external production resources.
  • Operational & Budget Acumen: Strong capability in budget planning, resource allocation, workflow management, and operational governance across a global marketing organization. Experience overseeing large-scale production budgets and timelines.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed global environment, partnering effectively with Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Digital, Events, Regional Marketing, and senior leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate strategic requirements into creative execution and ensure clarity across diverse teams.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel approximately 20-30% for team collaboration, events, vendor meetings, and global marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the global Creative Services & Marketing Communications team, including designers, producers, writers, video creators, and project managers.
  • Set vision, standards, and processes for creative excellence, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, on-brand assets across all channels.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture and ensure clear prioritization, workload balance, and capability development.
  • Own relationships with external creative agencies, video partners, production vendors, and specialty service providers.
  • Direct agency scopes, resourcing, budgets, timelines, and creative output to ensure high-quality, efficient execution.
  • Build the right mix of in-house and outsourced capabilities to scale global content and creative production.
  • Own the annual marketing budget cycle, including forecasting, allocation, tracking, and alignment with Finance.
  • Provide budget oversight across campaigns, creative production, launches, regional initiatives, and operational costs.
  • Drive disciplined processes for resource allocation, approvals, spend tracking, and reporting.
  • Own the operational execution and management of the annual marketing plan, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional workflows are aligned.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Segment Marketing, Digital, Events, and Regional Marketing to execute launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives consistently and on time.
  • Provide program management oversight across all major marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Oversee global content operations, including intake, prioritization, workflow management, creative review, and asset distribution.
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, design systems, and templates to ensure consistency and adoption across regions.
  • Ensure scientific accuracy, maintain brand consistency, and quality across all creative assets including web, video, print, digital, and campaign materials.
