About The Position

The Director of Compensation is responsible for the overall strategy, management, and administration of employee broad-base and variable Compensation programs within the organization. This job will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining competitive and cost-effective Compensation programs to attract, motivate and retain talent while ensuring alignment with Human Resources objectives and industry standards. This role will be part of a Total Rewards leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards. The Director Compensation will also: • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards while maintaining internal equity and market competitiveness • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and senior leadership to support talent acquisition, retention, and performance initiatives • Oversee compensation systems, analytics, and team leadership to drive operational excellence and strategic insights • Develop communication strategies to educate leaders and employees on compensation programs and philosophy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (a combination of experience and education will be considered)
  • 5 (five) or more years of experience managing people and programs at a manager level or above
  • 7 (seven) or more years of experience in a compensation related role
  • Ability to develop a clear, realistic, and actionable vision, and provide a results oriented strategy
  • Ability to use customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience
  • Ability to build, motivate, and lead high performing team
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage projects and assignments from start to completion
  • Ability to think critically and independently resolve problems
  • Ability to effectively research and analyze findings to produce actionable information
  • Ability to ensure efficient workflow and implement best practices and process improvements
