About The Position

Workforce Solutions partners directly with teams looking to hire top talent. We are currently working with a multi-entity, family-owned restaurant group in the Wisconsin Dells to find an experienced Director of Business Operations to join their leadership team. What's the role? The Director of Business Operations oversees front-of-house performance across several restaurant concepts within a single ownership group. This role focuses on operational consistency, leadership development, customer experience, and revenue growth. The Director supports supervisors and managers, identifies efficiency opportunities, and ensures high-quality standards across all locations. What will I do day to day? Be physically present across each restaurant location to support front-of-house operations Support teams in delivering a consistent and exceptional guest experience Train, develop, and mentor supervisors and managers Monitor staffing, customer flow, inventory awareness, and operational trends Review processes to identify ways to streamline operations and increase revenue Strengthen team culture across a multi-entity family-owned group

Requirements

  • SafeServe Wisconsin certification
  • Ideally 10 or more years of experience in the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a restaurant is preferred
  • Strong preference for candidates with multi-unit restaurant leadership experience
  • Basic financial acumen and the ability to understand and impact budgets, forecasting, and revenue drivers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, family-owned business with multiple concepts
  • High emotional intelligence and strong people leadership skills
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop supervisors and managers
  • Strong customer service skills and a hands-on approach to front-of-house operations

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager at a restaurant is preferred
  • Strong preference for candidates with multi-unit restaurant leadership experience
