About The Position

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving admissions growth, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening community and referral relationships across all Team Recovery programs. This position unifies marketing, outreach, and admissions under one coordinated strategy that emphasizes timely conversion, data-driven decision-making, and client-centered engagement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, be 21 years or older, and be deemed insurable through Team Recovery's insurance carrier.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate political and healthcare landscapes to advocate for change.
  • Strong communication skills, with a talent for inspiring others and articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with a readiness to embrace challenges and drive innovation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive community engagement strategy aligned with organizational goals, that co-align with Team Recovery's marketing strategy and other marketing initiatives.
  • Provides strategic oversight to specific departmental budgets, maintains fiscal responsibility for assigned department(s), provides budget variance reports when applicable.
  • Conducts internal and external communications in a professional and clean matter.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, government agencies, businesses, and other stakeholders.
  • Directs Marketing and Community vendors, ensuring that Team Recovery's branding is streamlined.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations that enhance the organization's visibility and impact.
  • Identifies key referral sources and maintain a positive relationship with those sources ensuring that Team Recovery has good referral communication and partnerships.
  • Represent the organization at community events, public forums, and speaking engagements as needed.
  • Oversees outreach campaigns, communications, and initiatives that promote awareness of our mission and programs. Including but not limited to marketing paid ads and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with strategic objectives for Team Recovery's brand.
  • Monitor and evaluate community relations initiatives to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to staff involved in community engagement, marketing and partnership development.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and other Team Recovery digital strategy efforts.
  • Oversees and is responsible for the implementation of Team Recovery's Community Relations (CRM) System and Call Tracking Metric (CTM).
  • Provides other duties as assigned.
