About The Position

The Director of Business Analytics is a senior strategic leader who transforms complex data and business challenges into clear, actionable insights that drive enterprise performance. Sitting at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, this role goes beyond traditional FP&A to partner with leaders across the organization — diagnosing problems, building analytical frameworks, and influencing decisions that shape the future of the business. This leader brings intellectual curiosity, financial rigor, and strong business acumen to bear on the organization’s most pressing questions. They build and lead a high-performing analytics team, champion a data-driven culture, and ensure that insight — not assumption — underpins every major business decision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Data Science, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business analytics, FP&A, management consulting, or a related strategic finance/analytics function.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing analysts or cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of solving complex, ambiguous business problems using data and analytical frameworks.
  • Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members.
  • Background in or strong familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative reasoning skills with a talent for simplifying complexity.
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data querying; experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Expert-level experience with BI and visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and FP&A systems (e.g. Workday, SAP, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, NetSuite).
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills — ability to turn data into decisions.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • High intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action and impact.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree (MS in Analytics, Data Science, or related) strongly preferred.
