About The Position

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a keen attention to detail to join our Banquet team as a Director of Banquets! Essential function of the job: The ideal candidate for the Director of Banquets role must be able to efficiently plan, organize, and lead the employees in the Banquets Department while ensuring guest satisfaction. The Director of Banquets coordinates the set up and detailed service of all functions in the property. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate who is ready to partner with the Food & Beverage and Sales & Catering teams to create and produce memorable banquet experiences for our guests.

Requirements

• College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required.
• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Previous management experience for a minimum of 3 years in high end Food & Beverage Operations is required, and banquet experience is preferred.
• The ideal candidate should have strong organization, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and overall strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
• Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
• Food Handler Certification & Tips Certification Required
• Must already be legally permitted to work in the United States.
