Director of Azure Architecture
About The Position
The Director, Azure Architect will serve as the primary technical lead for the PAM Health Initiative within Resolve Tech Solutions’ ERP Services function. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure that support enterprise-grade applications and data solutions. The Director, Azure Architect will collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align solution design with PAM Health’s strategic objectives, drive modernization and migration efforts, and ensure adherence to security, governance, and performance best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a Cloud or Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure
- Advanced knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components (e.g., VMs, AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, etc.)
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud design, networking, and identity management (Azure AD)
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
- Solid understanding of Azure governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Azure certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure, covering infrastructure, networking, identity, security, and application services
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate functional requirements into well-architected Azure solutions
- Lead Azure migration and modernization efforts, including application refactoring, integration, and data platform transformation
- Define and enforce governance, compliance, and security frameworks for Azure environments
- Provide technical leadership and oversight across project teams to ensure adherence to best practices and organizational standards
- Conduct architecture and design reviews, identifying opportunities for performance optimization and cost efficiency
- Partner with ERP, application, and infrastructure teams to integrate Azure solutions into existing enterprise ecosystems
- Mentor engineering and operations teams, contributing to the development of RTS’s internal Azure and cloud capabilities
- Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and client presentations throughout project lifecycles
- Stay current with evolving Azure technologies and recommend improvements to cloud strategy and tooling
