About The Position
Step into the role of a Principal Architect at JPMorganChase and become a driving force behind the development and adoption of cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies. As a Director of Architecture at JPMorganChase within the Digital Workflows Product Line, you lead across multiple areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across both business and technical domains in the Architecture function to execute critical initiatives of the function. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise / Solution architecture in development and or infrastructure organizations
- ServiceNow advanced certifications (CTA, CMA, etc.)
- Java, Database, Data Warehouse experience
- Ability to “think big” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, services and solutions
- Experience working within a large global organizations
- Experience in managing delivery of complex technology solutions

Responsibilities
- Leads multiple architecture and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide architecture objectives
- Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
- Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
- Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives while driving consensus across competing objectives
- Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
