About The Position

Moorings Park is seeking a hands-on, technically strong Director of IT Architecture to design and lead the organization’s technology architecture. This role is responsible for ensuring systems are secure, integrated, and aligned with operational needs across a multi-vendor environment. The Director focuses on cloud architecture, system integration, identity and access management, and cybersecurity design, while working closely with the CIO, IT team, and external partners to deliver scalable, practical technology solutions. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
10+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in architecture or technical planning
Strong experience with cloud platforms, system integration, and cybersecurity
Hands-on technical skills (e.g., Active Directory, scripting, infrastructure-as-code)
Strong communication and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Healthcare or senior living experience preferred

Responsibilities

Design and maintain enterprise architecture, ensuring systems are integrated, secure, and scalable
Lead cloud architecture strategy and migration roadmap
Establish and enforce cybersecurity architecture, including identity and access management and Zero-Trust principles
Provide hands-on technical leadership, including system design and implementation
Develop architecture standards, guidelines, and reference models
Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions
