The Director of Applications Management is accountable for ensuring customer success by delivering IT infrastructure that enables enterprise business capabilities and services. This role involves using Lean initiatives and continuous improvement to transform the function, including customer engagement, strategy, resiliency, service offerings, process improvement, and workforce. The Director is expected to create a disciplined, knowledge-driven organization where timely decisions are made based on knowledge, fact, and insight. As a key member of the senior IT leadership team, this critical role is accountable for the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and for ensuring the infrastructure strategy is fully aligned and delivering compelling business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy, overseeing and aligning global IT teams, while safeguarding IT digital infrastructure.
  • Ensure strategy aligns with business expectations and maximizes uptime through appropriate use of process and technology.
  • Engage with the functions and operations to understand key challenges and deliver proactive, innovative solutions.
  • Embed IT security and compliance requirements in IT standards, partnering with other IT functions to deliver balanced solutions.
  • Manage costs, track inventory, deliver a lifecycle strategy, and provide the appropriate level of support to mitigate risk to operations.
  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values.
  • Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
  • All GT leaders are accountable for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents.
