About The Position

The Director of Analytics will be responsible for leading and expanding our analytics strategy to enhance decision-making, improve patient care, and support business growth. As part of the Office of the CEO, you will work closely with senior leadership to develop data-driven initiatives that impact every facet of our business. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in a provider or payor environment, with a strong understanding of clinical data, operations, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Ability to define, implement, and track key metrics in sales, clinical, and operational analytics.
  • Strong background in scaling data analytics within a fast-growing startup or provider organization.
  • Expertise in using advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics) or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with clinical and business goals, ensuring insights drive key decisions in operations, patient care, and business development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all analytics and data-related initiatives within the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define and measure KPIs across business units.
  • Analyze large datasets (clinical, operational, financial) to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive improvements in health outcomes for patients.
  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to optimize patient care, operational efficiency, and cost management.
  • Design and execute advanced analytics models and algorithms to support clinical decision-making, predictive modeling, and population health management.
  • Work closely with clinical, business development, operations, and finance leadership to drive data-driven solutions and ensure analytics are fully integrated into day-to-day operations.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and storytelling, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advise leadership on trends and emerging technologies in healthcare analytics.
  • Ensure that analytics practices are aligned with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Develop and enforce best practices for data governance, quality, and security within the organization.
  • Lead efforts to build data infrastructure that supports scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with Strategy, Technology, and other departments to identify and integrate solutions to power efficient analytics.
  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to enhance Telos’ competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
