About The Position

Data only matters if it changes what people do. As Director of Analytics, you’ll lead a team that turns raw data into the strategic foundation clients and internal teams rely on to make better decisions. You own the analytics practice end to end—the strategy, the tools, the people, and the quality of every insight that goes out the door. This is a role for someone who thinks like a business advisor who happens to be deeply technical. You’ll set the vision for how analytics drives value across the agency, shape the team’s adoption of AI and advanced techniques, and ensure clients see analytics not as a reporting function but as a strategic advantage. Our clients range from B2B organizations with long sales cycles and CRM-integrated marketing to multi-location businesses across higher education, healthcare, real estate, retail, and grocery. You’ll need proven experience across the spectrum—driving pipeline for lead-based businesses and in-store and ecommerce impact for bricks-and-clicks retail—and the ability to adapt strategy to fundamentally different buyer journeys. If you’re energized by building systems that scale, developing people, and making data genuinely indispensable to clients, this is the role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the agency’s business goals and client objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and establish benchmarks for success across the agency’s portfolio.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to key clients—translating their business objectives into actionable analytics strategies and recommendations.
  • Influence necessary stakeholders internally and externally to provide what the team needs to complete its work.
  • Heavily influence scoping and pricing for new and updated client retainers, ensuring profitability and alignment with team capacity.
  • Define and own the analytics team’s AI roadmap: evaluate emerging tools, establish governance frameworks, and lead adoption across the practice.
  • Champion the integration of AI into core workflows—predictive analytics, attribution modeling, anomaly detection, automated reporting, and customer segmentation—to drive efficiency and insight depth.
  • Develop AI usage guidelines, quality standards, and training programs to ensure responsible and effective use across the team.

  • Implement ongoing testing and experimentation to improve performance and ROI.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, data requirements, and key performance metrics.
  • Ensure client engagements are structured as consultative advisory partnerships—not just reporting cycles.

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, data-driven culture within the analytics team.
  • Coach and develop direct reports through regular mentorship, performance reviews, and career development conversations.

  • Uphold and promote the agency’s core values, fostering a positive, inclusive, and intellectually curious workplace.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and professional growth.
