Summary: The Director of Admissions and Marketing oversees all admissions activities and drives census through community outreach, referral development, and branding. This role ensures a smooth admissions process, fosters strong referral relationships, and collaborates with internal teams to meet operational goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of customer service experience in healthcare.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and medical terminology.
- Degree in healthcare management, medical social work, or marketing.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the practicing state.
Responsibilities
- Manage the admissions process from inquiry to residents admission, ensure timely documentation, and track census data. Serve as the primary liaison to families.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, case managers, physicians, and other referral sources. Promote the facility in the community and identify new referral opportunities.
- Develop local marketing plans, organize events, and manage online presence. Collaborate on branding and messaging with the corporate team.
- Work closely with internal teams to align census goals, provide updates on referrals, and ensure staff preparedness for incoming residents.
