About The Position

Altamaha Health Center located at 1311 W. Cherry St., Jesup, GA has an opportunity for a full-time Admission / Marketing Coordinator. We are proud of the difference we make in the lives of our residents. Primary responsibilities of this position include: Achieves facility census goals and annual budget projections. Marketing of facility, market outside 85% and in house 15% with a range of 100 mile radius Works with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage referral activities. Conducts admission screening of potential patients, determine level of care, services required, equipment needs and insurance coverage, as indicated. Coordinates admissions with appropriate staff. Maintains knowledge of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance company reimbursement. Participates in the facility quality improvement process by identifying customer service issues and reporting these issues to the NHA. Conducts tours of facility for prospective residents whether walk-ins or scheduled admissions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in business development
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Managed care insurance
  • Experience working independently
  • At least one year in Long Term Care

  • Nursing License Preferred
