About The Position

Lakeland Center, part of the Optalis Health Care organization, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Admissions Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for driving census growth, building strong referral relationships, and managing the full admissions process to ensure a smooth and compassionate experience for residents and families.

Requirements

• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, or post-acute care.
• Proven ability to meet referral or sales goals.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.

Nice To Haves

• Established healthcare contacts in the local market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate referrals through relationship building with hospitals, physicians, assisted living communities, and other healthcare partners.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to meet census goals.
• Conduct sales calls and community outreach.
• Coordinate all aspects of admissions and readmissions, including clinical documentation and financial verification.
• Provide tours and serve as the primary contact for prospective residents and families.
• Submit weekly inquiry and census reports.
